The Michael Jackson Auction

Michael Jackson will be auctioning off over 2,000 of his personal items.  So here’s your chance to own a piece of Michael’s pie.

From April 22 – 25, come on down to The Beverly Hilton Hotel to bid for Michael Jackson’s personal items.  Amongst the items to bid for is a special one-of-a-kind gate… the Gateway to Neverland Ranch featuring MJ’s crest.

While I feel bad that Michael has to sell off his belongings since people can’t stop suing him, I will be heading down to bid on some MJ gloves to help him out!

Chris Brown for Attempted Murder – Rihanna Hurt, but OK

There have been A LOT of updates in the past few hours on the whole Chris Brown / Rihanna case.

First off, let me show you the picture of Rihanna after the alleged assault. This image was released by TMZ just this morning:

But, one of Rihanna’s friends has been talking to the media about the relationship. While many are outspokenly supporting Rihanna, a friend says Rihanna has been keeping in touch with Chris Brown while she hides out with her family and friends in Barbados. Her friend stated, “She keeps saying she wants to make sure that he’s okay… She thinks this will all just blow over and they can go back to how they were.” Ok Ri-Ri… if he really did this to you… you don’t want to go back to that.

Which brings me to – the Los Angeles D.A. will be investigating Chris Brown for domestic violence, assault, and attempted murder. That’s right – attempted murder. They are basing this off the allegation that Chris Brown said he was going to kill her while his hands were around her neck…

It’s just a downward spiral for this young performer.

Kanye’s New Girl?

Kanye West was seen getting comfy with a new girl – Amber Rose.  They were spotted together at the Gramercy Park Hotel for the Narciso Rodriguez Fall 2009 Fashion Show after party on Tuesday night.

Octo-Mom Needs a New Home

The infamous Octo-Mom, Nadya Suleman, needs a new home to house 14 of her children. Octo-Granny hasn’t made any mortgage payments since May 2008, leaving the current outstanding balance to $23,224.98 – so… Octo-Mom and Kids are gettin’ the boot unless a payment is received.

Octo-Mom and Kids are now browsing around for a new place to live. Word on the street is: She’s checkin’ out a $1.24 Million Dollar home – with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

OK.. so a couple things cross my mind.

1) If you can’t help your mom make mortgage payments on the small house you’re living in, what makes you think you can upgrade to a bigger and more expensive place – and expect to make timely payments? How much bank is the Octo-Mom really getting from these donations? Coz without a job, I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to afford a house with a million dollar price tag! I’d be the first one denied, but Nadya Suleman gets her own private open house tour!

2) 4 bedrooms. How are 14 kids gonna get split up into these rooms? I understand that the cribs will be together, but when these kids get older, it’s just gonna be a headache.

Without a job, this woman really knows how to milk money! I guess her new agent is puttin’ in work.

Bone Thugs Team Up With K-Fed

Is this shit for real? Or is it a publicity deal?

Bone Thugs & Harmony’s Krayzie Bone announced that he wants to hit up K-Fed for the next best album. He indicated that he likes to roll with the underdogs and see them make platinum hits.

K-Fed’s one and only album, Playing With Fire, didn’t land the dancer to the top of the charts even after blowing up the fact that Britney Spears was featured on it.

Personally, I think this whole thing is just to keep pushing albums out and see how the media would react to it… but that’s just me…

Tameka Raymond Released From the Hospital

After 11 days of recovery, Tameka Raymond has been released from Sirio-Libanes Hospital in Brazil. At the request of the family, no additional information was given by the hospital to the media.

Tameka Raymond, wife of R&B singer Usher Raymond, suffered from a cardiac arrest under general anesthesia before a liposuction surgery. As our earlier post explained, Tameka was revived shortly after and the doctors did not proceed with the operation.

With close calls like Tameka’s, and with devastating losses such as the passing of Donda West (Kanye West’s mother) due to complications with her cosmetic surgery, I don’t see the rush in getting plastic surgery or liposuction. I say – wait until it’s 100% safe – but until then, it doesn’t seem to be worth it.

Tiger Woods is the proud father of his newborn son, Charlie Axel Woods. These photos, from Golf Magazine, were the first-ever pictures released of little Charlie. Isn’t he adorable? 🙂

Stephen Fowler Sucks

Before creating this blog, Stephen Fowler caught my attention.

Who is Stephen Fowler?
Stephen Fowler is a fellow resident of San Francisco. However, his stint on ABC’s WifeSwap isn’t holding over well with many people that saw him. He belittled his temporary wife, was very rude, inappropriate, controlling, and appears as an elitist. Everything he said, did, and all reactions to the show are featured in StephenFowlerSucks.com.

Why Are You Writing About Him?
Because I’ve got an update for you today! After the WifeSwap episode aired, Stephen Fowler was forced to resign from two non-profit boards, received death threats, and needed police protection from the crazies throwing eggs at his house.

While I don’t condone or appreciate what he said or did in the show, I don’t think people should harass him the way they are. Yeah, I get the teasing – but do we really need to circulate his number around for hundreds of random death threats? And going to his house to express your distaste in his actions is just pushing it… it’s a bit extreme to me. There are so many haters out there, but you don’t see them getting death threats and verbal abuse.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Be Back

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back.

The Governator is tired of the hot mess in California – education is still on the back burner, the budget is in the billions, and state tax refunds will be IOU’s. So what’s Arnold gonna do?

Well, Arnold just signed up to be in the next action movie directed by Sylvester Stallone. The movie, The Expendables, will begin filming in March 2009 and will feature other big namers like Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Forest Whitaker, and many others. The Expendables is about a team of mercenaries who attempt to overthrow a South American dictator… sounds good, right?

So expect to see Arnold on the big screen soon!

San Francisco’s Sony Metreon to Close its Doors

Sony Metreon is one of my favorite places to go in San Francisco. When my fiance and I first started dating, we would head down to the Metreon, grab some food, watch a movie, win prizes in the arcades, play demos at the PlayStation Store, and walk out to Yerba Buena Gardens. We even had a “Flashback Date” for Valentine’s Day 2009, where my fiance scheduled dinner at Sapporo, a walk through the gardens, dessert, and a movie.

A few years ago, we even waited in line to get an pre-release copy of Socom 3 – that’s my fiance playing on the game below.

So, Sony got the Metreon started back in 1999 and now they’ve made the business decision to decline the renewal of a 10-year contract of both the Sony PlayStation Store and Sony Style. Sony Style is scheduled to end on March 31, 2009 and the Sony PlayStation Store is scheduled to shut its doors on June 16, 2009.

I’m sure that Westfield will end up snatching up the building space since they expanded Westfield Mall in 2006, which is just a block away. It’s just sad because it was one of the many places I enjoyed in San Francisco and it’s upsetting to see it go. I hope they plan to stay nearby and open up in another San Francisco location… but there’s no solid information on that.
